🚨TWO DEAD, EIGHT INJURED IN OVERNIGHT TRENTON SHOOTING
Two people died and eight others were injured when shooters opened fire on a large block party on Locust Street early Sunday morning. The Trenton Police Department and county investigators are currently searching for suspects, and no arrests have been made.

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and Trenton Police Department are investigating a deadly overnight shooting that left two people dead and eight others injured at a large gathering in Trenton.
According to investigators, officers were dispatched at approximately 12:23 a.m. Sunday to the 100 block of Locust Street following reports of a shooting in progress.
When officers arrived, they found multiple adult victims suffering from gunshot wounds. In total, 10 people were shot and transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center by ambulance or private vehicles.
💔 A 33-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man were pronounced dead.
The remaining eight victims — two women and six men between the ages of 23 and 43 — were treated for their injuries and stabilized.
🔎 WHAT HAPPENED?
Preliminary information indicates a large block party involving approximately 100 people was taking place on Locust Street when multiple suspects approached the gathering and opened fire into the crowd.
The shooting prompted a significant law enforcement response, with additional officers assisting with crowd control.
Detectives are now reviewing surveillance footage and working to identify witnesses who may have information about the shooting.
