The Wildwoods Air Show returns September 12β13 with aerial performances by the United States Air Force and other pilots. This free event will include a special tribute to the victims and heroes of the September 11 terrorist attacks.
WILDWOOD, NJ β The Wildwoods are preparing for a special weekend of aviation, patriotism and remembrance as the annual Wildwoods Air Show returns September 12β13, featuring a tribute honoring the victims and heroes of September 11, 2001.
The free two-day event will take place along the Wildwoods' five-mile island, with the primary viewing area positioned over the ocean between Moreyβs Marinerβs Pier and Adventure Pier near Spicer Avenue.
βοΈ As part of this year's program, spectators will see an aerial salute honoring those who lost their lives and the heroes who responded on 9/11, marking the 25th anniversary of the tragedy.

Several remembrance ceremonies will take place throughout the Wildwoods on Friday:

πΉ 10:00 a.m. β Downtown Wildwood 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at Byrne Plaza
πΉ 5:30 p.m. β Wildwood Crest 9/11 Memorial Service at Alameno Park, New Jersey & Miami avenues

The performances can be viewed from beaches and boardwalk areas throughout the island. General viewing is free, while premium seating options will also be available.
The weekend is expected to serve as both a tribute to the heroes and victims of 9/11 and a patriotic celebration as the Wildwoods continue events marking America's 250th birthday. πΊπΈπ
The air show will also help close out the summer season and usher in the Wildwoods' fall "Second Season."
