The Wildwood Police Department announced enforcement action following an investigation into an unauthorized beach and Boardwalk event that officials say had the potential to draw a large crowd and create public safety concerns during one of the busiest times of the summer season. According to police, detectives became aware on July 28, 2026, of a social media post promoting an unsanctioned “Beach/Boardwalk Party, Video Shoot” in Wildwood. Investigators said the post gained significant attention online and raised concerns about possible disruptions to residents, visitors, and local businesses. Members of the Wildwood Police Department’s Detective Division investigated the promotion and identified the alleged organizer as Soudyce Diallo of Philadelphia. Police issued a cease-and-desist notice ordering the cancellation of the planned event and removal of promotional content from social media. Authorities also filed a criminal charge against Diallo under N.J.S.A. 2C:33-2(d), Disturbance at a Public Gathering.
