🚔 WANTED MURDER SUSPECT ARRESTED DURING EAST BRUNSWICK TRAFFIC STOP

A routine traffic stop in East Brunswick led to the arrest of a 24-year-old Linden man wanted in connection with a double homicide in Bergen County, according to prosecutors. Authorities said officers discovered an active warrant for the suspect, who is accused in the July 19 fatal shooting of two men in North Arlington. The victims, identified as Brian Lockett, 28, of North Arlington, and Ezequiel Aquino, 29, of Newark, were found suffering from gunshot wounds and later died at the hospital. Prosecutors say four individuals have been charged in the case. Investigators allege the shooting followed an altercation during a child custody exchange. Authorities also allege two of the suspects fled the scene with two young children who were not properly secured in car seats, resulting in additional child endangerment charges.
