Gilmore was taken into custody Wednesday and faces multiple charges, including two counts of first-degree homicide and two counts of first-degree attempted murder. Authorities are also investigating a separate shooting reported along North High Street.

Officials said James Harris, 52, of Absecon, allegedly fired a weapon in the direction of a passing vehicle occupied by two people.

Harris was charged Sunday with several weapons-related offenses, including unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful pointing of a firearm. He was taken into custody Monday.

The investigation into both incidents remains ongoing.
