🚨 TWO CLIFTON WOMEN ARRESTED FOLLOWING ALLEGED TARGET SHOPLIFTING IN FAIRFIELD
Fairfield police arrested two Clifton women for allegedly stealing about $256 worth of merchandise from a local Target. Authorities charged the pair with shoplifting and conspiracy after security officers reportedly caught one woman leaving the store without paying.

Two Clifton women were arrested after Fairfield police investigated an alleged shoplifting incident at Target, according to the Fairfield Police Department.
Police said Target Asset Protection personnel allegedly observed Marilyn Moreno-Aguilar, 28, pushing a shopping cart containing various merchandise out of the store without paying. She was detained by store security and subsequently turned over to Fairfield police.
The merchandise was valued at approximately $255.95, authorities said.
During the investigation, police alleged that Jennifer Llerena, 27, was acting as an accomplice. Llerena was reportedly located and detained in the store’s parking lot a short time later.
Both women were transported to Fairfield Police Headquarters for processing. Authorities charged Moreno-Aguilar and Llerena with shoplifting and conspiracy to commit shoplifting.
The two were later released pending an initial appearance in Essex County Superior Court.
