š“š TEEN RIDING HORSE ALONG ROUTE 34 STOPPED BY POLICE IN ABERDEEN

Aberdeen Township police stopped a teenage girl riding a horse along Route 34 on Sunday night. Officers warned the teen about the dangers of the highway, and family members eventually arrived to safely trailer the animal back to Marlboro.
š ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP, NJ ā Aberdeen Township police responded Sunday night after receiving multiple 911 calls about a teenage girl riding a horse along Route 34.
According to Police Chief Matthew Lloyd, officers located the girl and spoke with her about the dangers of riding a horse along a busy state highway. šØš
Police said the teenager was not issued any summonses.
Family members later arrived and transported the horse back to its residence in Marlboro by trailer, bringing the unusual roadside incident to a safe conclusion.
No injuries were reported.
