Ship Bottom police are investigating a vehicle theft that occurred on East 30th Street early Wednesday morning. Investigators are asking residents to check surveillance footage for any suspicious people or unfamiliar vehicles that may have been in the area.
SHIP BOTTOM, NJ ā The Ship Bottom Police Department is investigating the theft of a motor vehicle from the East 30th Street area during the early morning hours of August 21.
Police are asking residents and local businesses with surveillance cameras to review footage from the evening of August 20 through approximately 2:00 a.m. on August 21 for any activity that may assist investigators.
Authorities say residents should look beyond the typical signs of vehicle theft or property activity. Suspicious activity could include unfamiliar vehicles entering a street and leaving after only a short period of time, as well as suspicious individuals or activity around homes, businesses, driveways, or parked vehicles.

š POLICE REMINDER: Always lock your vehicle and take your keys inside with you. Never leave your vehicle unlocked or unattended with the keys inside.
