🚨💎 SPRING LAKE HEIGHTS, NJ: THIEVES SMASH JEWELRY CASES DURING OVERNIGHT BREAK-IN

A local jewelry store in Spring Lake Heights was burglarized early Thursday morning after two suspects reportedly broke into the business and smashed multiple display cases.

🚔 According to authorities, the incident occurred shortly after 2:00 a.m. at Bentley Diamonds on Route 35.

Surveillance footage reportedly captured two men inside the store as they damaged the jewelry displays. One of the suspects can be seen with his face partially visible despite wearing a mask.

📱 Store owner Jonyar Bagheri was alerted to the break-in by a security notification and immediately accessed the store's surveillance cameras from his phone.

The suspects reportedly fled the business and remain at large.

👮 Spring Lake Heights Police Chief Ed Gunnell said investigators are actively pursuing multiple leads in an effort to identify and locate those responsible.

Store management also confirmed that no customers' personalized jewelry or other personal items were affected during the burglary.

Despite the significant damage to the display cases, Bentley Diamonds reopened for business later that morning.

💎 The business has been part of the Wall Township and Spring Lake-area community for nearly 50 years and says it intends to rebuild the damaged cases and continue serving customers.

🔎 The burglary comes amid another recent jewelry-store break-in in the area. On June 25, thieves reportedly smashed their way into a jewelry store on Norwood Avenue in Ocean Township. Those suspects remain at large.
