NORTH JERSEY — The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement for portions of Passaic, Hudson, Bergen, Essex and Union Counties as a cluster of strong thunderstorms moves across the region.
At approximately 4:52 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near West Milford to Belle Mead, moving east at approximately 40 MPH.
💨 HAZARD: Wind gusts of up to 50 MPH are possible.
