🕯️ SOUTH PLAINFIELD WOMAN KILLED IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH; INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY
Authorities are investigating a collision in South Plainfield that killed 27-year-old motorcyclist Sierra Grey on Saturday evening. Grey died at the scene after her motorcycle struck a Subaru making a turn at the intersection of Ledden Terrace and Clinton Avenue.
📍 SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of a 27-year-old South Plainfield woman Saturday evening.
According to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and South Plainfield Police Department, officers responded to a 911 call reporting a collision at the intersection of Ledden Terrace and Clinton Avenue at approximately 7:22 p.m. on September 12, 2026.
🏍️ When officers arrived, they found a motorcycle operated by Sierra Grey, 27, of South Plainfield, and a Subaru Outback operated by a 76-year-old South Plainfield man involved in the crash.
Grey suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Subaru was not injured.
🔎 PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION
The initial investigation determined that the Subaru was making a left turn onto Ledden Terrace from Clinton Avenue when it was struck on the front driver's side by a Honda SBR1000 motorcycle.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
