🚨🔫 SHOTS FIRED INTO OCCUPIED HOME UNDER INVESTIGATION IN UPPER SADDLE RIVER 🔫🚨
Police are investigating after gunfire struck an occupied home on Hidden Glen Road in Upper Saddle River on Friday afternoon. No injuries were reported in the isolated shooting, and authorities do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community.
📍 UPPER SADDLE RIVER, NJ — Authorities are investigating a shooting incident after suspected gunfire was reported at an occupied residence Friday afternoon.
The Upper Saddle River Police Department responded at approximately 12:00 p.m. on August 7 to a report of possible shots fired at a private residence on Hidden Glen Road.
🚔 Upon arrival, officers determined that shots appeared to have been fired into the occupied home. Due to the nature of the incident, members of the Bergen County Regional SWAT Team initially responded to assist officers.
Thankfully, no one was struck and no injuries were reported.
🔎 The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigations Squad was notified and responded to the scene, launching a joint investigation with Upper Saddle River police. The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene.
Authorities have not released information regarding a possible suspect, motive or circumstances surrounding the shooting.
⚠️ Officials emphasized that the incident appears to be isolated, and there is currently no indication of a wider or ongoing threat to the community.
