The severe weather threat across New Jersey has ended following a series of active thunderstorms. While some moderate rain may continue briefly, officials urge drivers to remain cautious of potential roadway flooding and reduced visibility throughout the evening.
NEW JERSEY — The threat for severe weather across New Jersey has officially come to an end Thursday evening following an active night of thunderstorms.
While the severe weather threat has ended, pockets of moderate to heavy rain may continue to move through portions of the state for another hour or so. No additional severe thunderstorms are expected at this time.
Residents are encouraged to continue using caution on the roads, particularly where heavy rainfall may temporarily reduce visibility or create ponding on roadways. 🌧️
