šš NEWARK MAN ARRESTED DURING SECAUCUS TRAFFIC STOP ON PRESCRIPTION DRUG CHARGE āļø
Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old Newark man Sunday morning during a traffic stop. Officers charged Brandon Nelson-Lyde with possession of a prescription drug he was not authorized to have before taking him to the county jail.
š SECAUCUS, NJ ā A 31-year-old Newark man was arrested Sunday morning during a motor vehicle stop in Secaucus after police allegedly found a prescription medication he was not authorized to possess.
According to the Secaucus Police Department, officers conducted a motor vehicle stop at approximately 10:17 a.m. on September 6.
During the stop, police arrested Brandon Nelson-Lyde, 31, of Newark.
Nelson-Lyde was charged with Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug, with the substance identified by police as believed to be Buspirone Hydrochloride, under N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10.5E(2).
šØ Following his arrest, Nelson-Lyde was taken to the county jail.
āļø The charge is an accusation, and Nelson-Lyde is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
