Mariah A. Hetzel has been found safe, bringing a welcome end to the search that had prompted concern among family, friends and community members.
In a statement, the Figueroa/Hetzel family expressed their deep appreciation to everyone who helped during what they described as some of the most frightening moments of their lives.
The family thanked those who actively searched, shared information, spread the word and offered words of encouragement and support throughout the effort to bring Mariah home.
