🚨 MASKED GROUP CARRYING WHITE SUPREMACIST-ASSOCIATED FLAGS MARCHES THROUGH PRINCETON

📍 PRINCETON, NJ — SEPTEMBER 1, 2026

Princeton Police are investigating after a group of approximately 12 masked individuals marched through parts of Princeton Saturday while displaying flags associated with white supremacist organizations and carrying a banner reading “Keep New Jersey White.”

👮 According to Princeton Police, officers received reports of the gathering and responded to the area. Authorities said the group did not apply for a demonstration permit through the town.

Participants were reportedly wearing neck gaiters covering their faces as they marched through the community.

🚔 Police said the incident has been documented and remains under investigation. At this time, authorities said there is no information that would elevate the incident to a bias crime determination.

🏛️ Princeton Mayor Mark Freda condemned the demonstration, saying the message displayed by the group does not represent Princeton or its community.

📍 According to a social media post attributed to Garden State Active Club, the demonstration was organized by Atlantic Youth and included individuals associated with Northeast Action, Pennsylvania Active Club and Garden State Active Club.

The group reportedly marched to the Princeton Battle Monument, where a speech was delivered, before continuing through downtown Princeton. Organizers claimed the demonstration concluded without incident.
