ššµ LOS ANGELES WOMAN ARRESTED IN SECAUCUS AFTER ALLEGEDLY ATTEMPTING TO USE FRAUDULENT CURRENCY šµš
Secaucus police arrested a 22-year-old Los Angeles woman for allegedly trying to use counterfeit money at a CVS on September 3. Kimeya Sanders was charged with forgery and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
š SECAUCUS, NJ ā A 22-year-old California woman was arrested in Secaucus after police responded to a report of someone allegedly attempting to use fraudulent U.S. currency at a local CVS.
According to the Secaucus Police Department, officers responded to the CVS located at Plaza Centre at approximately 6:04 a.m. on September 3 following a report involving fraudulent currency.
Police arrested Kimeya Sanders, 22, of Los Angeles, California, and charged her with Forgery, under N.J.S.A. 2C:21-1A(3).
āļø Sanders was issued a summons to appear in Secaucus Municipal Court and was subsequently released.
The case will now proceed through the court system.
ā ļø The charge is an accusation, and Sanders is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
