⚖️ KINGWOOD TOWNSHIP MAN INDICTED ON SEXUAL ASSAULT AND CHILD ENDANGERMENT CHARGES 🚔
A Hunterdon County grand jury indicted 53-year-old Christopher H. Kascik for allegedly providing alcohol to and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl. Kascik was a civilian employee of the Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Office at the time of his arrest.
KINGWOOD TOWNSHIP, NJ — A 53-year-old Kingwood Township man has been indicted by a Hunterdon County grand jury on multiple charges stemming from allegations involving a 13-year-old girl, authorities announced.
According to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, Christopher H. Kascik, 53, of Kingwood Township, was indicted on September 17, 2026, on five counts:
• Second-degree Sexual Assault • Third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child involving alleged sexual conduct • Third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child involving alleged abuse • Two counts of fourth-degree Criminal Sexual Contact
Prosecutors allege that on March 29, 2025, Kascik provided alcoholic beverages to a 13-year-old female at his Kingwood Township residence, causing her to become intoxicated. Authorities further allege that Kascik sexually assaulted the juvenile while she was intoxicated.
Kascik was initially charged through a warrant-complaint on April 23, 2025.
At the time of his arrest, authorities said Kascik was employed as a civilian employee of the Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Office. The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office was designated to handle the prosecution in the Hunterdon Vicinage of the Superior Court.
🔎 The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes/Child Endangerment Unit and the New Jersey State Police assisted with the investigation.
