š„ JACKSON MOBILE HOME FIRE UNDER INVESTIGATION š
A fire that destroyed one mobile home and damaged another in the Oak Terrace Mobile Home community in Jackson Township is currently under investigation, according to officials.
Garden State News Network was on scene and spoke with neighbors who described seeing intense flames coming from the home. One neighbor reported seeing flames shooting from the front window, while another said they heard what sounded like an explosion shortly before the fire broke out.
Members of the Jackson Police Department were seen canvassing the neighborhood and speaking with residents as part of the investigation.
GSNN has learned that both mobile homes that sustained damage were unoccupied at the time of the fire. No injuries have been reported.
Officials have not yet released additional details regarding the cause or circumstances surrounding the blaze.
