🚒🔥 HOUSE FIRE DAMAGES HOME IN MIDDLETOWN’S LINCROFT SECTION 🔥🚒
Forty-one firefighters responded to a heavy structure fire on Lehigh Drive in Middletown’s Lincroft section last Saturday. While crews successfully extinguished flames in the rear and attic of the home, the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
Firefighters responded last Saturday, July 25th, to a residential structure fire near the 80 block of Lehigh Drive in the Lincroft section of Middletown Township. Heavy smoke and flames were visible coming from the rear of the home and attic area as crews worked to bring the fire under control. Additional firefighters assisted with ventilation and overhaul operations on the second floor and attic to ensure all hot spots were extinguished. 🧯 A total of 41 firefighters responded to the incident, including members of multiple Middletown Township fire companies and mutual aid agencies. Belford Engine Company also responded as a Rapid Intervention Team. 🚨 The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Middletown Township Fire Prevention Office. 👏 Thank you to all firefighters and emergency personnel who responded and worked to protect the residents and surrounding community. 📸: Middletown Fire Dept
