Hightstown police and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office are seeking a person of interest following a reported physical and sexual assault on September 11. Authorities released video footage of an individual they wish to identify and speak with regarding the incident.
📍 HIGHTSTOWN, NJ — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest following an alleged physical and sexual assault in Hightstown earlier this month.
According to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Hightstown Police Department, a 34-year-old woman reported that she was walking near Park Way and Rogers Avenue at approximately 8 p.m. on September 11, 2026, when she was approached from behind by an unknown male.
Authorities say the woman reported that the man physically and sexually assaulted her before leaving the area.
Investigators have released video footage showing an individual they would like to identify and speak with as part of the investigation.
⚠️ No arrests have been made, and authorities say no suspect has been identified at this time.
Police are also asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, has information about the individual shown in the footage, or has experienced a similar encounter to contact investigators.
