Hackettstown will host a 9/11 remembrance ceremony at the Municipal Building on September 11 at 8:45 a.m. to honor victims and first responders. Residents should expect temporary road closures in the area from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
The Town of Hackettstown will honor the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks with a community remembrance ceremony on Friday, September 11, at 8:45 a.m. at the town’s 9/11 Memorial outside the Municipal Building. The ceremony will pay tribute to the lives lost, recognize the courage and sacrifice of first responders, and provide an opportunity for the community to reflect on one of the nation’s most significant days in history. Residents are invited to attend, and local veteran and service organizations are encouraged to participate. Motorists should be aware that temporary road closures are expected in the area of the Municipal Building from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Businesses and residents will continue to have access during the event.
