🚨 HACKENSACK DRUG DISTRIBUTION INVESTIGATION LEADS TO ARREST 🚨
Hackensack police arrested 38-year-old Ramarr Pannell-Bishop following a drug raid at a Second Street apartment. Officers seized various narcotics and rescued four neglected dogs, leading to additional charges for distribution near a school zone and animal cruelty.
📍 HACKENSACK, NJ — A drug distribution investigation conducted by the Hackensack Police Department’s Crime Suppression Bureau has resulted in the arrest of a 38-year-old Hackensack man.
According to police, the investigation began after complaints were submitted by a concerned citizen through Crime Stoppers.
On Monday, August 3, 2026, detectives, assisted by the Hackensack Police Emergency Services Unit, executed a Bergen County Superior Court-authorized search warrant at an apartment on Second Street, located near Carver Park and public housing.

Police also reported finding four dogs inside cages without food or water. Bergen County Animal Control responded and took custody of the animals.
👮 The suspect, identified by police as 38-year-old Ramarr Pannell-Bishop of Hackensack, was charged with multiple drug-related offenses, including alleged distribution of prescription medications, narcotics and marijuana, as well as alleged distribution near public housing and a school zone. Additional charges include alleged possession/distribution of drug paraphernalia, receiving stolen prescription medication and animal cruelty.
Pannell-Bishop was already being held at the Bergen County Correctional and Rehabilitation Center on an unrelated arrest when police served him with the new complaint warrants. He was awaiting an initial appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
