🚨 FORMER WATERFORD SCHOOL EMPLOYEE CHARGED AFTER CELL PHONE ALLEGEDLY HIDDEN IN FACULTY RESTROOM
A former Waterford Elementary School worker faces charges after allegedly hiding a cellphone in a staff restroom to record people. Authorities say no students were recorded, and the third-party employee has been fired and barred from school property.

A former Waterford Township school employee is facing criminal charges after police say a cellphone was allegedly placed inside a faculty restroom at Waterford Elementary School to secretly record people without their knowledge or consent.
According to Waterford Township Police, authorities were notified on August 14 about the alleged incident involving an employee who reportedly placed the cellphone inside the restroom.
Police identified the suspect as 20-year-old Skyler Moore of Clementon. Moore was charged with:
🔴 Two counts of Invasion of Privacy 🔴 One count of Tampering with Evidence
Investigators conducted a forensic examination of the cellphone. Police said the examination did not uncover any content involving students or other juveniles.
🏫 SCHOOL DISTRICT RESPONDS
The Waterford Township School District said the alleged conduct involved employees of a third-party program provider and occurred while school was not in session.
District officials said Moore was removed from duty after the allegations came to light and was subsequently barred from district buildings and property, as well as prohibited from contacting staff or students.
The Waterford Township Board of Education later terminated Moore's employment.
School officials said they immediately contacted law enforcement and cooperated with the investigation.
The district declined further comment, citing the privacy of those affected and the ongoing criminal case.
