A Flood Advisory is in effect until 7:30 p.m. for parts of Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic, and Union Counties. Heavy rain may cause water ponding and poor drainage on roads, so drivers should avoid traveling through flooded areas.
NORTH JERSEY â A Flood Advisory has been issued for portions of Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union Counties, remaining in effect until 7:30 PM.
đ Heavy rainfall from thunderstorms may result in ponding of water, poor drainage flooding, and rapidly rising water on roadways, especially in areas that have already received significant rainfall.
đ Areas included: ⢠Bergen County ⢠Essex County ⢠Hudson County ⢠Eastern Passaic County ⢠Union County
đ Motorists should use caution and be prepared for changing road conditions. Never drive through a flooded roadway, even if the water appears shallow.
Residents are encouraged to monitor weather conditions and remain alert for possible Flash Flood Warnings if flooding worsens.
