🚨🌊 FLASH FLOOD WARNING — MERCER & SOMERSET COUNTIES
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Mercer and Somerset counties until 5:15 p.m. Torrential rain from thunderstorms may cause dangerous flooding, and residents are urged to avoid driving through flooded roads and seek higher ground.
⚠️ A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for Mercer and Somerset Counties and remains in effect until 5:15 PM.
🌧️ Torrential rainfall from thunderstorms could cause rapid and dangerous flooding in low-lying areas, along streams and creeks, and on roadways with poor drainage.
🚗 TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN! Never attempt to drive through a flooded roadway. Water depth can be difficult to judge and moving water can quickly become dangerous.
🏠 If flooding occurs near you, move to higher ground immediately and stay indoors when possible.
