🏍️💥 FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH UNDER INVESTIGATION IN GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP
A motorcyclist died Friday night following a collision on the White Horse Pike in Galloway Township. Police say a vehicle pulled out of a driveway and failed to yield to the motorcycle, which was traveling westbound.
GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ — August 14, 2026 — A motorcycle crash in Galloway Township claimed the life of a motorcyclist Friday evening after a collision with another vehicle.
According to the Galloway Township Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 8:46 p.m. on the White Horse Pike (U.S. Route 30) near S. Odessa Avenue.
Police said the motorcycle was traveling westbound on the White Horse Pike when a vehicle exited a driveway onto the roadway and allegedly failed to yield to the approaching motorcycle. The motorcycle subsequently collided with the vehicle.
The impact ejected the motorcyclist, who suffered serious injuries. The motorcyclist was later pronounced deceased as a result of their injuries.
The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were not injured.
🌤️ At the time of the crash, weather conditions were reported as clear with temperatures around 75 degrees, and the roadway was dry.
🚔 The roadway was closed for approximately three hours while officers conducted their on-scene investigation.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has additional information is asked to contact Ofc. K. Reyes #125 or Ofc. S. Estrella #142 of the Galloway Township Police Traffic Unit.
