⚖️ EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP MAN PLEADS GUILTY IN DRUG AND WEAPONS CASE

⚖️ EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — An Egg Harbor Township man has pleaded guilty to multiple drug and weapons offenses and is expected to receive a 10-year New Jersey State Prison sentence, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Kirk I. Eason, 42, entered his guilty pleas on Monday, August 31, 2026, in Atlantic County Superior Court.

Eason pleaded guilty to:

🔹 Second-degree possession of cocaine with intent to distribute 🔹 Second-degree possession of heroin and fentanyl with intent to distribute 🔹 Fourth-degree possession of hollow point ammunition 🔹 Second-degree certain persons not to possess weapons

Under the terms of the plea agreement, Eason is expected to receive 10 years in state prison, including a five-year period of parole ineligibility.

🔎 The case stems from an investigation that began in January 2025 by the New Jersey State Police Crime Suppression South Unit and the Egg Harbor Township Police Department into alleged narcotics distribution.

Search warrants were executed on January 22, 2025, resulting in the seizure of more than a half-ounce of cocaine and more than a half-ounce of heroin mixed with fentanyl, according to prosecutors.

🚔 Investigators also recovered three firearms, two additional weapons that were determined not to be firearms, hollow point ammunition, and more than $1,700 in cash.

Several law enforcement agencies assisted with the operation, including the New Jersey State Police Metro South Unit, Atlantic County S.W.A.T., New Jersey State Police S.I.U. South and the New Jersey State Police Hazardous Material Response Unit.

Eason remains held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending sentencing.

📅 Sentencing is scheduled for October 13, 2026.

The case is being prosecuted by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Unit.
