šØ DENVILLE, NJ: OVER 25 POUNDS OF MARIJUANA SEIZED DURING TRAFFIC STOP
Denville police arrested a 24-year-old man Thursday after a routine traffic stop on Route 46 led to the discovery of over 25 pounds of marijuana. Officers also seized cash and drug paraphernalia, charging the driver with drug distribution and money laundering.
š A routine traffic stop in Denville Township reportedly led to a significant drug seizure Thursday evening after officers discovered more than 25 pounds of marijuana, a large amount of cash and drug paraphernalia inside a vehicle.
According to authorities, officers conducted the stop at approximately 7:10 p.m. on Route 46 East after observing the vehicle being operated in a careless manner.
During the investigation, officers allegedly located the marijuana, cash and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
š® 24-year-old Ebraheem Al-Zanam was arrested at the scene and transported to Denville Police Headquarters for processing.
Authorities said Al-Zanam was subsequently committed to the Morris County Correctional Facility, where he remains pending a future court appearance.
