Bernards Township Police are investigating the theft of a Cadillac Escalade taken from a High Meadow Lane driveway on August 29. The unlocked vehicle, which had the keys inside, was later found empty in Edison.
š BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ ā Police are investigating the theft of a Cadillac Escalade from a residential driveway on High Meadow Lane after the vehicle was reportedly left unlocked with the keys inside.
According to the Bernards Township Police Department, the incident occurred on August 29, 2026. The resident returned home and discovered a suspicious vehicle parked in front of the residence.
When the homeowner approached the suspicious vehicle, the lights on their Cadillac Escalade reportedly came on before the stolen SUV was driven out of the driveway. Police said both vehicles then fled the area.
šØ The stolen Escalade was later located by Edison Township Police. The vehicle was found unoccupied.
š The Bernards Township Police Detective Bureau is continuing to investigate the incident.
