An Orange man was arrested Friday night after allegedly throwing a pocketknife at someone during an argument at the American Dream complex. Jonathan Moore faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, following the encounter that left one person with minor injuries.
📍 EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — A 36-year-old Orange man is facing multiple charges after police say he threw a pocketknife during an argument at the American Dream complex Friday night, striking another person and causing minor injuries.
According to the New Jersey State Police, troopers responded to the entertainment and retail complex at approximately 9:11 p.m. Friday following a report of an assault.
Investigators determined that Jonathan Moore, 36, of Orange, allegedly threw a pocketknife at a victim during an argument. Police said the knife struck the victim, who suffered minor injuries.
Moore was arrested and charged with:
🔸 Aggravated assault 🔸 Possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose 🔸 Terroristic threats
Moore was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a detention hearing.
🚔 The investigation remains ongoing, and State Police said no additional information is being released at this time.
