The collision occurred at the intersection of Monmouth Road and Route 206. Authorities say the ambulance was carrying two EMTs, an EMT student, and a patient when it collided with another vehicle. All five individuals involved—including the three first responders, the patient, and the driver of the other vehicle—were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials have confirmed that the two EMTs and the EMT student have since been released. The condition of the patient and the other driver has not been released.
