A three-alarm apartment fire early Monday morning left 12 units damaged and caused a partial collapse at the Narraticon Apartments on the 100 block of Hemlock Court in Deptford Township.

🚒 Firefighters were dispatched around 12:45 a.m. after flames broke out at an apartment. According to the resident, her granddaughter discovered the fire on the patio and immediately alerted the family.

Residents were quickly evacuated as flames rapidly spread through the building. Neighbors reported hearing people banging on doors and yelling for others to get out.

🔥 The intensity of the fire prompted Deptford firefighters to request assistance from neighboring departments and escalate the incident to a three-alarm response.

⚠️ During firefighting operations, crews were forced to pull back from the structure after the second floor collapsed.

Officials said smoke detectors were operating, and residents’ quick actions, combined with the rapid response of firefighters, helped ensure everyone was able to escape safely.
