An 18-year-old man from Brick died early Thursday morning after his car veered off Squankum Allenwood Road into a wooded area. Wall Township police are currently investigating the single-vehicle crash, and the victim's identity is being withheld pending family notification.
WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Wall Township Police Department is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of an 18-year-old Brick resident early Thursday morning.
According to police, emergency crews were called to Squankum Allenwood Road at approximately 5:36 a.m. on August 13, 2026, after receiving reports of a vehicle that had left the roadway.
Upon arrival, responders located a gray 2006 Honda Civic in a wooded area off the westbound lane. The vehicle had sustained extensive damage.
The driver and sole occupant, an 18-year-old male from Brick, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police are withholding his identity pending notification of next of kin.
