Four masked men used sledgehammers to steal approximately $1 million in jewelry from 9Lakha Jewelers in Iselin on Friday night. The Woodbridge Township Police Department is currently searching for the suspects, who fled the scene in less than one minute.
ISELIN, NJ ā Four masked suspects reportedly stole approximately $1 million worth of jewelry during a brazen smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store in Iselin, according to Woodbridge Township police.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:45 p.m. at 9Lakha Jewelers, located at 1326 Oak Tree Road.
According to investigators, four men dressed in black clothing and wearing masks entered the business and used sledgehammers to smash multiple jewelry display cases.
š„ Police said the suspects grabbed a large amount of jewelry before fleeing the store. The entire theft reportedly took less than one minute.
Authorities have not released additional information about the suspects, including their identities or whether a getaway vehicle has been identified.
